WHAT KIND OF COMPUTERS ARE YOU ACCEPTING?

Gently used laptops that might be running a little slow or are slightly outdated for your current media needs.  Screens and keyboards should be in good working order, without any major damage.

WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS?

Computers should have at least 1GB of memory and 2GB of RAM.  For a list of models that can be refurbished, check out the Certified Models List from Neverware.

WHERE CAN I DROP OFF MY COMPUTER?

Computers can be dropped off at Two River Computer, located at 120 Fair Haven Road in Fair Haven.

HOW CAN I ENSURE MY DATA ISN'T ACCESSIBLE ON THE COMPUTER?

Before dropping off your computer, you can wipe it clean and restore it to factory settings. (Not sure how? Learn More.) Upon drop off at Two River Computer, your computer will be checked, data wiped using the DoD 5220.28-STD data sanitizing method, and the computer will be restored to factory settings.  The DoD 5220.28-STD, published by the Department of Defense, is a 7-pass process that writes the random characters onto the drive so nothing can be recovered.
